World Book Day

On Thursday 7 March Catmose Primary celebrated the wonderful world of books by dressing as our favourite literary characters.

African Drumming

This week we were treated to a fabulous African drumming workshop coordinated through the Music Education Hub for Rutland, encouraging children to take part in lots of different musical opportunities.

Whoops a Daisy Angel

On Wednesday 5 December Ash Class wowed the audience with their fabulous performance of Whoops A Daisy Angel. We hope it got everybody into the Festive spirit.

A Midwife Crisis

On Monday 3 December Beech and Cedar class were superstar performers in their production of A Midwife Crisis. We hope it got you all into the festive spirit.

Rutland Poppy Project

As a thank you to the children at Catmose Primary for taking part in the Rutland Poppy Project we have been presented with a beautiful display box of poppies.

Harvest Tea

On Friday 13 October we held our annual Harvest Tea. Our Year 6 pupils worked very hard welcoming and serving out VIP guests.

Redwood Class

As part of their creative curriculum this term, Redwood class have been learning about the Romans. Over the last few weeks they have been making Roman chariots.

Musical Afternoon

A huge thank you to our fabulous PTA for organising an afternoon of music for the whole school with the talented Tony Parkinson.

House Captains

Congratulations to our new House Captains. In their role as house captains they will lead termly competitions and act as school prefects.

A Year in Sport

2017/18 has been a hugely successful year in sport for Catmose Primary. Pupils have represented the School in a variety of sports from gymnastics and golf through to table tennis and netball.

The cast and staff worked tremendously hard to put on the show this evening and appreciated the support from our parents and friends.
