On Friday 22 March Year 4, Redwood Class, took part in an exciting Recorder Jamboree at Oakham Showground. This event was organised by the Rutland Hub and allowed recorder players from around Rutland to share their skills in a mass recorder ensemble. The pupils played some well known tunes, and had fun with new musical skills. At the end of the session there was an opportunity to ask composer Sarah Watts about how she writes music. All of the children practised hard and played really well.
