Willow Class pupils enjoyed a session at Catmose College, using the fantastic cooking facilities in the new Barlow building. They made a delicious tomato and red pepper sauce to add to freshly cooked pasta.
Pupils at Catmose Primary invited their grandparents and relatives as VIP guests to a Harvest Afternoon Tea. Each class contributed an element to the afternoon tea, from homemade sandwiches and cakes to table decorations and menus. The children sang a range of harvest songs and read harvest poems. Everyone who attended said what a lovely treat it was. Thank you to all our hardworking staff who supported the children in this event.
The children in Beech Class, Year 1, had great fun looking at using their sense of smell and taste. Lots of the children loved the sour lemons! Great learning everyone.
Willow Class, Year 6, children classified different sweets depending on their similarities and differences in a recent Science lesson. Great teamwork Willow!
