Returning to School

I hope you and your family are well. This is a long post but a vital one for you and your child to read so that we are all clear about what is necessary in the new academic year to allow a safe return to the Primary.

Farewell to our class of 2020

Farewell to our fabulous Willow Class, what a wonderful class you have been. Good luck in your exciting next steps, we know you will make us all very proud. Have a super summer.

Dance show 2020

This week, over 70 pupils from Catmose Primary performed in the 5th annual Catmose Dance Festival.

African Drumming

Last term each class took part in an African Drumming workshop led by Keba, thanks to the Rutland Music Hub for their help in organising this.

Science Kits

Students from Harington School's Young Enterprise team joined our Year 5 and 6 girls recently to encourage the study of Science.

Gymnastics Success

Recently our talented gymnastics team took part in a competition at the Active Rutland Hub at Ashwell. 

Lights, Camel, Action

The children in Beech and Cedar classes wowed family and friends in their funny and delightful Christmas show.

Ash Class - A Miracle in Town

On Thursday 10 December our youngest children performed in their first ever Catmose Primary nativity and were all fabulous. We hope all who attended enjoyed the production and it got you in the festive mood.

Sportshall Athletics Competition

Congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 Sportshall Athletics team who came third in the Team Leicestershire finals this week. A fantastic achievement from all involved.

Year 6 Stibbington Trip

As part of our Victorian ‘Revolution’ topic, our Year 6 pupils went on a day trip to Stibbington Education Centre this week.

Northern Lights Project

As part of their ‘Frozen Kingdom’ topic this term, Willow class used the Northern Lights as inspiration for a their own music.

Wilds Lodge Festival

Pupils in Year 5 and 6 recently visited Wilds Lodge for an epic festival of music and activities. All had a fabulous time enjoying all that the festival had to offer.

Oak Class test out our Science Lab

Oak Class had a fantastic time testing out the new Science lab today with Mrs Jackson. They conducted some exciting toy car and ramp investigation work.

House Captains 2019/20

Pupils in Year 5 and 6 performed Pirates of the Currybean at the end of Term 6.
